Lived experience has proven to be one of the most powerful philosophical tools in fighting oppression. It challenges the assumptions of wider society about the quality of life of those that society dismisses. This mug reminds us that we have no authority over describing the lived experience of others and that it is important to stand firm in what we have experienced.
